Hi, I'm Tomas, and more than four years ago I was €2,000 in debt and completely lost.

I had no job, no direction, and no idea where to start. I tried every self-help from local bookstores – "think positive," "practice gratitude," all the usual advice. Nothing worked. I was getting worse.

But I was drowning.

I found a therapist who had literally saved someone from suicide. I knew I needed help, but therapy costs €40-50 per session in Lithuania. When you have negative money, that's everything.

So I did something that still makes me cringe. I wrote the most humiliating message of my life:

"I desperately need help but I can't afford your full rate. Would you consider a discount?"

I sat there for an hour before hitting send. My pride was shattered. Real men don't beg for help. But I was dying inside.

You choose three focus areas when ordering, and we build your book around them using proven therapeutic techniques like CBT. Every book is created individually, just for you.

How should I use the book?

There’s no right or wrong way to use your book. You can work through it one page at a time, take it with you to therapy, or open it up whenever you need a moment of reflection. We recommend setting aside quiet time each week to explore the exercises and connect with your thoughts at your own pace.

When will I receive my order?

From the moment you place your order, your book becomes uniquely yours. Your name appears on the cover and throughout the pages, and the content is tailored to the three therapy topics you select. It’s not a one-size-fits-all approach — it’s your voice, your focus, your journey.

How is the book personalized?

Your Therapy Book is made just for you. When you order, you choose three therapy topics that feel most relevant to your current experience — and we build your book around them. We also use your name throughout the book to create a warm, personal tone — so it feels like the book is speaking directly to you. This makes the exercises more engaging and helps create a deeper connection as you work through each section.

What is CBT, and is it safe to use this book?

CBT stands for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy — a widely used, evidence-based approach that helps people understand and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. The exercises in your book are grounded in CBT techniques that encourage gentle self-reflection, emotional regulation, and personal growth. While the book isn’t a replacement for professional therapy, it’s designed to be a safe, supportive companion whether you're in therapy or working on your own.

Can I return or exchange the book?

Because each book is custom-made just for you, we’re not able to accept returns or exchanges. That said, if your book arrives with any printing issues or damage, we’ll gladly send you a replacement free of charge. Just reach out to us within 90 days of receiving your order, and we’ll take care of it.

Can I edit my order after placing it?

If you notice a mistake in your name or selected topics, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@yourtherapybook.com. We begin editing shortly after each order is placed, so changes are only possible within the first few hours after purchase. We’ll always do our best to help.

Is this book a replacement for therapy?

Your Therapy Book is designed to support your emotional well-being through reflection and evidence-based techniques, but it’s not a substitute for professional mental health care. Many people use the book alongside therapy, while others use it independently as part of their self-care.
